There's a new contender for best red lips of the week!
Adele had that honor locked up at GRAMMYS but Cate Blanchett is coming in a close second.
The actress was spotted in NYC Tuesday at a reception for The Ever Changing Face of Beauty photography installation. 
While we're undecided on the gold shadow (it seems a little matchy-matchy with her hair) we adore the gorgeous slash of red that pops against her porcelain skin.
Perfect for Valentine's Day or any time you really want to make a statement.
