Is Russell Brand looking to spice up his love life? So say various reports that have linked the British comedian with fellow U.K. pop star Geri Halliwell (aka Ginger Spice of the Spice Girls, of course).

According to The Sun, Russell and Geri met while in London for the Olympics, where both performed during the closing ceremonies (Geri as part of a Spice reunion and Russell in a tribute to the Beatles).

The tabloid's source claims that the duo is now a "proper" couple and alleges that Russell and Geri even went on an outing with Geri's 6-year-old daughter, Bluebell, to the Hampton Court Palace.

But is it all just a bunch of bollocks? A source tells E! News that Russell and Geri are just friends and have been out a few times.
