Unlike their recent rollercoaster outing, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West kept this particular date night under wraps.

The loquacious rapper was MIA as the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posed on the red carpet in a green and white Versace dress at the Midori Beachside Bash at the Delano Hotel in Miami Friday night.

So where in the world was Kanye?

Inside—sipping Midori cocktails and later cuddling with Kim when she wasn't busy hosting the event (we can't blame a guy for ducking a red carpet once in while).

Jonathan Cheban and Larsa Pippen were also at the fete to support Kardashian, as was Dancing with the Stars hoofer Karina Smirnoff (who took a break from battling some tasty waves).
